Warframe Voruna Prime - She just dropped, the release date is April 8 and I've already spent half my stockpiled relics and syndicate standing getting her relics. Let me walk through exactly how to farm Voruna Prime for free and what the Prime Access packs actually include.
For those who don't know, Voruna Prime is the 64th Prime Warframe and she's the first fully quadrupedal Prime in the game's history. Base Voruna walks normally. The Prime version crawls on all fours which looks genuinely unsettling in the best way. She came with two signature weapons, the Perigale Prime sniper rifle and the Sarofang Prime axe.
Free Promo Code First
Before anything else. There's a free code running right now.
Go to the Warframe promo code redemption page and enter VORUNA. You get a free Voruna In Action Glyph and the Honored Pack Collection. This code expires April 15 so do it today. Takes 30 seconds.
Prime Access Packs vs Free Farm
You can buy instant access through four pack tiers: Weapons, Prime, Complete, and Accessories. The Complete pack has the best value and bundles Voruna Prime, both weapons, accessories, and platinum.
But you don't have to spend anything. Voruna Prime and both signature weapons are all obtainable completely free through Void Relics. That's the best about this game, everything can be obtained for free.
The only things locked to paid packs are the exclusive accessories: Hanteler Prime Syandana, Vilkas Prime Sumdali, Okuri Tails Prime Ephemera, and both 90-day boosters. If you want those specifically you have to buy them while Prime Access is active. They never come back.
How To Farm Voruna Prime Relics
- Axi V14 Relic - Voruna Prime Blueprint (Rare)
- Lith N19 Relic - Voruna Prime Chassis Blueprint (Uncommon)
- Meso D8 Relic - Voruna Prime Neuroptics Blueprint (Uncommon)
- Neo V11 Relic - Voruna Prime Systems Blueprint (Rare)
Three main methods and you want to use all three at once.
Syndicate Standing: This is the fastest burst of relics on day one. Go to Teshin at any relay and spend Steel Essence on relic packs. You can get 75 relics from Teshin alone if you've been stockpiling essence. Then hit your six main syndicates and spend all your standing on relic packs immediately. A good chunk of those packs will contain Voruna Prime relics since she just entered the drop tables.
Void Capture Missions: Hepit in the Void for Lith relics. Ukko in the Void for Meso and Neo relics. These are 90-second runs and give guaranteed relics every time. Bring a speed frame. Volt or Titania. Run these until you have enough of whatever tier you're missing.
Apollo Disruption on Lua: Best source for all four relic tiers in one mission. Takes longer per run than Void Capture but you get significantly more relics per hour if you stay 4-6 rounds. Good option if you already have plenty of Lith but need Axi specifically.
Recommended Tip: Max out two or three open world syndicates before you start cracking relics. Cetus, Fortuna, and Necralisk vendors all sell relic packs with standings. More relics in your inventory means more chances before your first radshare.
Cracking Relics The Right Way
Once you have a stack of Voruna relics, radshare. Four players, all the same Voruna relic refined to Radiant, run together. You're looking at roughly a 34% chance per run to see the rare part in a 4-player radshare vs 2% solo Intact. The difference is massive.
Check which part you're targeting and refine accordingly. Common parts: run Intact. Rare parts like the Voruna Prime Systems or weapon blueprints: go Radiant and find a radshare squad.
Also: Protea Prime Going Vault
One more thing before I finish. Protea Prime, Velox Prime, and Okina Prime all went to the Prime Vault with this update. You can no longer farm their relics in missions.
If you have leftover Protea relics, sell them in trade chat now while demand is still fresh.
