"Market forces dictate that you need to evolve or die."
Hydroid Prime is Vaulted. It moved into the vault on July 7, 2019, but can appear during Prime Resurgence events. Players looking to obtain it have to trade with other players for the relics or the parts. For more efficient runs, you can purchase the rare relics and run a radiant group.
Hydroid Prime was released with these Signature Prime items:
Summon a tempest to rain down upon a target area.
Crash through enemies in a ferocious wall of water.
Plunder Armor from nearby enemies and increase <DT_CORROSIVE_COLOR>Corrosive Damage on your Abilities and weapons. Enemies affected by <DT_CORROSIVE_COLOR>Corrosive Status offer a greater increase.
Summon a creature from the depths. Its watery tentacles emerge from nearby surfaces to wreak havoc.
| Stat | Hydroid | Hydroid Prime | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Health | 270 | 270 | - |
| Shield | 365 | 550 | +185 |
| Armor | 240 | 290 | +50 |
| Energy | 140 | 175 | +35 |
The Primed variants offer improved stats over the base versions, and most importantly better armor which is what we call truly end-game.
