The exquisite Mag Prime offers the same abilities as Mag but with unique mod polarities for greater customization.
Mag Prime is currently vaulted. It moved into the vault on July 7, 2015. You can still acquire relics through player trading and Prime Resurgence windows, then run coordinated Radiant shares for better rare-part odds.

Mag Prime Farming Overview and Stats
Warframe Abilities
Pull
Mag stuns enemies as she manifests a magnetic vortex. The vortex pulls in Polarize Shards and stunned enemies to place them directly in front of her.
Magnetize
(TAP) Enclose a target in a magnetic field that ensnares nearby enemies and deals damage over time. The field pulls Polarize Shards that orbited Mag and shrapnel into the deadly mix. (HOLD) Mag surrounds herself in a magnetic field that absorbs ranged attacks and reflects damage back in a destructive cone.
Polarize
Emit an energy pulse that depletes enemy shields and armor as it restores ally shields. Debris left over from the pulse becomes Polarize Shards. Nearby Polarize Shards orbit Mag and cut enemies, inflicting <DT_SLASH_COLOR>Slash Status Effect.
Crush
Magnetize the bones of nearby enemies, causing them to collapse upon themselves.
Mag Prime vs Mag

| Shield | 455 | 455 | - |
| Armor | 105 | 135 | +30 |
| Energy | 140 | 215 | +75 |
The Primed variants offer improved stats over the base versions, and most importantly better armor which is what we call truly end-game.

4 Source RelicsMag Prime Farming Strategy and Radshare Tips
Optimal Approach:
- Go for the Blueprint first. It has the lowest item drop rate in the Mag Prime set and will be the hardest to farm, when comparing to other parts.
- Best relic to focus: Lith M1 (currently vaulted - trade with a player for the relic or wait for Prime Resurgence access).
- In full radiant relic squad, you have a 34.39% chance per run vs 10.00% when running solo.
- After that: Systems Blueprint from Lith L4 (16.67% per-player for Radiant).
Refinement Tips:
- Use Radiant (100 Traces) on Lith M1 while going for the Blueprint; always run radshares in groups.
- At current rates, you can expect roughly 2 Radshare runs for 50% odds for the required prime part, compared with about 7 solo runs.
- Run Intact/Exceptional Relics only when farming for common or uncommon primes (these are great for ducat farming), use Void Traces for the relics with hard to farm parts. Especially Axi Relics.
